Araya (Apple) was born in Bangkok, Thailand. She has a Master of Business Administration (Marketing) from Bangkok University. After working for Hewlett-Packard, Apple owned a successful spa business. Apple then relocated to San Francisco, where she started a Thai restaurant with her cousin. Today, she resides in New Jersey, where she supports the local Thai community.
